Affiliate and advertising disclosure

The short version

Calm Chaos HQ may earn a commission from links to retailers and from affiliate programs we join. If you buy something after using one of those links, you pay the same price you would have paid without our link. A commission does not change a return policy, a warranty, or whether an item fits your house.

That is advertising. Under the FTC’s endorsement guides, a material connection should be easy to notice. This page is in the main navigation and the footer, and every guide links here.

What is true today

We have not joined an affiliate program, and we do not add tracking IDs to links. A guide that mentions a product either names it in ordinary prose or links to a retailer’s public search page. Those search addresses contain a search term only. They do not contain an affiliate tag, a campaign code, or another tracking parameter, and clicking them does not pay us.

Wording for a specific affiliate program will be added to this page only after that program has approved the site. Until then, this page does not claim membership in any program, and neither does the footer.

Our own shop

Print Tonightkits linked from the printables page and from some guides are products we sell on Payhip. A purchase there pays us as the seller of that printable. That is different from an affiliate commission paid by another store. Free sample sheets on the printables page are downloads we host ourselves.

How we pick what to mention

A product type shows up because it matches a layout in a guide: a hook at backpack height, a bin for incoming paper, a whiteboard for the week’s meals. Brands are widely sold examples, not a paid ranking. We do not accept payment for an undisclosed mention. We do not claim any product treats ADHD or is a medical device. The longer note ishow we choose products.

On each guide

Every guide says, near the top, that product notes are editorial and that store links are public search pages. If a link later becomes an affiliate link, the guide will label it and this page will name the program.

Questions
